New Experience in Trang With English camp TSU 2014

Hello.. My name is Fades Gultom, I was a fourth- year students majoring in Physical Education from University of Bengkulu, Indonesia. Currently, I'm running a student exchange program at Thaksin University, Thailand for 2 months. Here, I run a school teaching internship program that has been set by my supervisor. However, because this time I have not been teaching internship, so I still have time to follow the other activities that exist on this campus. 
Intan, Fades, Ajhan Nook, Siti and budi
 As I have described, this is not my program. This program for my friends, Intan & Budi that running cultural exchange programs. But with kindness and favor intan and budi’s supervisor, finally, I and Siti was also invited to participate in the English camp 2014. Ajhan Diyaporn Wisamitanan, or Ajhan Nok, she is a good teacher and very active in any activity, I don’t wonder if she has a lot of grabbing the opportunity to fly to several large countries such as Japan and America. So envy, I hope I can do like her. She allowed me and Siti to participate in the English camp activities 2014 in Trang, one of the southern provinces. Except Ajhan Nok, there’s also Ajhan Tohn, one of teacher in the English major, that also participated in this activity. Ajhan Tohn is a very good and friendly to each student.

 English camp activity lasted for 2 days, precisely on 27-28 September 2014 last week. We departed from Thaksin by using 2 vans, and we also are divided into two groups, I and Siti, while Intan and budi and also students from the Department of English. Somewhere along the way to Trang we looked a beautiful sight, the city is still green with beautiful hills. Friends on the car was very excited to meet  us ( Bo,Aim, yoyo, sai , Berry, seks, James, Nisa and sorry I forgot the name but still remember their face :P), They are very friendly and very nice to us. They want to share the experience of their country and ask about our country. They are also excited to get a name from Indonesian, such as me who got the name in Thai language "TUB TIM", I was happy and proud to give a new name for the yo-yo (JOYO: meaning: Glorious, exalted) and Aim (Amir: Meaning: One the name of Indonesian pop singer). Hopefully they are happy with that name, and as did my name is tub tim, so proud to get the name from them.

 In this activity, I had an experience that will not be forgotten. Starting activities with Alice (Lisa), 24 years old, from the USA who provide some of the games that I never played before. Collecting garbage, singing and most important of the game is cohesiveness among team, caring for the environment, the use of wastes as well as awareness for the former not littering.

Games with Lisa, finished at 5:00 pm. Replaced with dinner and preparations for the fashion show of thrift that has been collected on the beach this afternoon. As our model is Intan, with the theme is typical Turban hijabers Indonesia, Intan was so confident. While the other team are not less good, they display their unique creations that was appealing to me. We blend together and there is no restriction between us, even though we were from different countries. I'm happy with this activity, and I will share  this experience to my friends in Indonesia.

Bolehkah kembali ku tuangkan nada-nada dalam hati ku yang kini bergejolak. Siapa yang tau sebabnya, namun harapan yang ada kini membuatku memberontak dalam diam. Ingin ku hempaskan, tapi pada siapa ? Ingin ku caci, tapi untuk apa ? Jika semua itu nantinya akan menambah kesedihan.

Broadcasting dan VOA Indonesia Conference Diversity Reporting 2015

Baiklah, saya mulai dari cerita tentang hobi saya yang saya jalani di awal tahun 2012 dengan terjun kedunia Broadcasting . Alhamdulillah saya berkesempatan untuk bisa menjajal dunia baru, yaitu dunia broadcasting, tepatnya Radio. Radio Swara unib FM menjadi langkah awal saya untuk memulai pembelajaran baru ini. Interesting   sekali ketika awal saya terpilih menjadi crew di radio tersebut mengalahkan puluhan pelamar lainnya, dan terasa istimewa karena ternyata hanya saya yang perempuan diantara 7 orang yang lolos dalam seleksi tersebut. Hari demi hari, waktu demi waktu saya lalui untuk belajar menjadi penyiar yang baik ( meskipun hingga kini belum dikategorikan baik), belajar dari penyiar yang telah lebih dahulu mencicip asam manisnya mic studio, belajar berinteraksi dengan orang lain, berkenalan dan membuat prestasi-prestasi yang sangat menarik bagi saya. Yapp.. tepat di tahun 2014 awal, saya memutuskan untuk resign   dari radio yang telah memberikan banyak pelajaran bagi...
